I choose this photo because it is the best description for "conspicuous consumption". These people don't wait for breed,water or anything like that. They are waiting for iPhone 4s or iPad 2. They show their wealthy. However, they unaware about wasting their time and money.
I couldn't agree more. The photo very clearly illustrates that want is driving the needs of these consumers rather than need. This type of consumerism is still quite unknown in Turkey but the examples of this in America are regular and some would argue out of control and even tragic. Good picture.
